Does hardware detection stay local?
- Local: hardware detection and model-fit calculations run inside the extension.
- Not uploaded: raw CPU, RAM and graphics-adapter scan data is not sent to Yowox.
- Public update: the extension can fetch a public model catalogue from Yowox. That request contains no hardware fields or unique user identifier.
- Your action: selected GPU, memory and calculator settings leave the extension only when you choose Open or Copy to create a result link.

Why is the GPU marked “Likely match”?
Chrome does not expose reliable discrete-GPU VRAM. Confirm the memory shown before using the result.
How do I check a laptop or unknown discrete GPU?
Use Custom / laptop GPU and enter VRAM. Model compatibility is calculated from memory; speed remains unavailable because bandwidth is unknown.
Can the extension detect an Intel Mac or integrated GPU?
Automatic matching is not supported in the first release. You can still choose hardware manually.
Does the VRAM calculator work offline?
The extension includes a complete built-in catalogue, so calculations continue without a network connection.
