Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Yowox OÜ (“Yowox”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit yowox.com (the “Site”) or use a Yowox browser extension. By using the Site or extension you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Yowox is an AI agency publishing articles about AI agents and automation and offering related services. For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We do not require account creation, and we do not process payments on the Site.

3. How we use your information

4. Third parties we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers who process it only to perform their function: beehiiv (newsletter delivery), Web3Forms (contact-form delivery to our email), Google Analytics (website analytics — see Section 7 for when it loads), and Cloudflare (hosting, delivery, security, the aggregate calculator counter, and delivery of the extension’s public catalogue). A catalogue request can create ordinary server logs, but it contains no detected hardware fields or stable extension identifier. We may also disclose data where required by law or in connection with a business transfer.

We process personal data on these bases: consent (newsletter, analytics cookies), legitimate interests (site security, aggregate analytics, responding to inquiries), and legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days (one month for EU/UK requests). EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their data protection authority.

7. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and local browser storage for basic functionality and, depending on your location, for analytics. If you are visiting from the EU, UK, EEA, or Switzerland, a consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics, and analytics tracking — including the calculator’s anonymous usage identifier — does not start until you accept. If you are visiting from elsewhere (e.g. the United States), analytics runs by default, consistent with opt-out regimes such as CCPA/CPRA — see Section 12 for how to opt out. Your location is estimated from your IP address at the network edge; no separate tracking cookie is used to determine it. The LLM calculator extension has no analytics and uses extension storage only for your selected settings and its catalogue cache. Its Reset local data control clears both. You can also clear local storage in browser settings.

8. Email communications

If you subscribe, we send newsletters and updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and our sender identity and physical address, as required. You can unsubscribe at any time.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed: newsletter data until you unsubscribe; contact-form data as long as needed to handle your inquiry; analytics data per the provider’s retention settings; and the pseudonymous calculator identifier while the aggregate usage counter and conversion measurement remain active. Extension settings and its public catalogue cache remain on the device until you clear extension data or uninstall it. Clearing site data creates a new anonymous identifier on a future consenting visit.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS/TLS, access controls, reputable processors). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International data transfers

Our processors may store or process data outside your country. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

12. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to know, delete, or correct their personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell personal information. To opt out of analytics tracking, block cookies in your browser settings or email [email protected] and we will honor the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

13. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to third-party sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change and, for material changes, we will provide a prominent notice.
